"Equal Footing: The Hospital CEO Perspective on Balancing Market Power," which found that next-generation information technologies would let doctors and hospitals drive health care delivery by significantly increasing customer influence. The study also proposes a new provider business model, the Care Management Organization, that would level the influence disparities between payors and providers.

"Consumerism in Health Care: New Voices," which found that consumers are demanding a stronger voice in the delivery of health care services and suggests the increasing use of next-generation information technologies will empower consumers and provide doctors and hospitals with the means to more effectively drive health care delivery.
